Retail Sales is a position within U.S. Protective Services designed to generate revenue for the Company, both through sales of equipment and recurring monthly revenue (RMR). This position should be filled by a person who is self-motivated, with strong people skills.

To be qualified for this position, a person should be strong in the following areas:

Basic understanding of electronic security systems is recommended, but the particular methods and best practices of security applications can be trained in-house with minimal background knowledge. Preferred knowledge base includes:

  • MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and basic Excel
  • General smartphone proficiency
  • General PC and internet proficiency

This position is intended to focus on residential and small commercial clients. Typical duties of the Retail Sales representative will include:

  • Respond to incoming leads from existing and potential clients
  • Generate new leads
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage new leads
  • Develop and maintain new programs to generate leads and referrals
  • Develop and support the Company’s reputation as a high-quality electronic security provider
  • Meet or exceed sales and profitability targets
